UPDATE:Services set for former coroner who died in Louisiana

Barry C. Moorman, 45, died Monday, March 29, 2010, in West Monroe, La. He was born Feb. 9, 1965, in Pontotoc. He graduated from Pontotoc High School in 1983 and served as athletic trainer from 1980-1990. He was a paramedic for more than 20 years and a former Pontotoc County coroner. He was very active in numerous youth groups at his home churches.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at West Heights Baptist Church with Rev. Dan Robertson and Rev. David Hamilton officiating. Tutor Memorial Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
