abstinence program comes to Ecru Saturday
The Silver Ring Thing (SRT) is a high-tech, high-energy performance that educates teens and twenty-something’s about the benefits of remaining abstinent until marriage and the dangers of promiscuous behavior. On Saturday, Jan. 30, SRT will be coming to Ecru for an event at Friendship Baptist Church from 6:30 to 9 p.m. With an outrageously funny approach, dramas, videos, special effects, and speakers, teenagers will be motivated in a unique and personal way to choose to commit to remain abstinent until marriage.
