You have only six more days to get your correct address in the voter system.
"If you have moved, or married and changed your name, it is your responsibility as the voter to make sure you are registered and the information is correct in your present voting precinct," said Tracy Robinson, Pontotoc County circuit clerk.
Robinson said if you vote in the precinct where you do not live any more, then you are breaking the law and committing a crime.
"If you will call this week, we will change to your corrected address. Please call by Tuesday, April 21, so we can have all the changes done prior to the May 5 elections."
For first time voter registration, the deadline to register to vote in these elections has already passed.
