Celebrate our independence this Saturday at Howard Stafford Park. The annual 4th of July celebration will be held this Saturday starting at 3 p.m. New events have been added this year to ensure an entire day of fun and excitement.

These new events will include a BBQ cookoff, a Basketball 3 on 3 tournament and a Beach volleyball tournament. These games are sure to be entertaining and will last throughout the day.

The celebration will be concluded with the annual Fireworks display at 9 p.m.

Pontotoc residents have so much to be thankful for and so much to look forward to in the year to come. None of our successes would be possible without our freedom and those who have fought and are currently fighting for it today.

So join us at the lake this weekend and let's celebrate our freedom, our troops, and our town.
