There should be a basic IQ test for people wanting to qualify to run for public office. Nothing can support this more than the perpetual sorry condition of our county roads. Poor road maintenance is nothing new in Pontotoc County. I guess our supervisors have more important things to do than worry about roads — like where someone might park a mobile home.
Somehow I doubt a visitor to our county would be more put off seeing a mobile home than if they happen to veer down some of our roads.
